Note: Make sure to arrange class cards before the new semester/school year gets updated.

• BOARD VIEW

Step 1: From your dashboard, find the old subjects that you need to relocate.

Step 2: Create a new section where you want to place your old subjects to easily determine the old subjects from the new ones.

Step 3: Kindly, move the old class cards into the created new section.

The class cards have been successfully transferred. You may delete the old section to easily determine and simplify the classifications.

Note: The added new subjects will be placed in the unclassified section.

• CLASSIC VIEW

Step 1: From your classic viewed dashboard. Click on the Filters button in the left-upper corner of your screen.

Step 2: Select the particular semester and school year that you want to view.

Step 3: The class cards of the Semester and School year you selected will be viewed like this.

For Android/Smartphone User:

Step 1: Open Settings

Step 2: Navigate Addition Settings or Search Date and time

Step 3: Open Date and Time, You can set “Use Net-Provided time” to set the time automatically

Step 4: You can set the time and date manually by Disabling “Use Net-Provided time”

Step 5: Select the nearest time zone

For IOS user:

Step 1: Open the settings app

Step 2: Navigate to general then to Date & Time and click set automatically you can also set the timezone there.

For Windows 7 users:

Step1: Click the displayed time in the taskbar and then click Change date and time settings.

Step2: Click the Internet Time tab, and then click Change settings.

Step3: Make sure that Synchronize with an Internet time server is checked.

Step4:Make sure the computer is connected to the Internet and click the Update Now button then click OK. The computer connects to an Internet server and updates the time on the computer.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome. Click more and then select Settings in the selection.

Step 2: Click on About Chrome.

Step 3: Google Chrome will automatically update and just click relaunch if it already finished updating.

Step 1: In your dashboard, click on your account's profile name in the right-upper corner of your screen.

Step 2: Then, click on "My Account".

Step 3: In the "User Settings", update your name to help your teacher recognize you easily.

Step 4: After you input your name, kindly set your gender to be easily identified in the grading list of your teacher.

Step 5: Once you're done, kindly click on the "Update" button to save the created changes.

Step 6: A confirmation will appear that the changes you created have been saved.

Step 1: On your dashboard click the class card of your desired class.

By default, you will be prompted to the social tab.

Step 2: In the social tab navigate to the post with a video link.

Step 3: Click the highlighted text from the post.

From there a new tab will be open, redirecting you to the highlighted link.

ADJUST TIME ZONE

For Windows

• Windows 10

Step 1: Click the Windows Start button and then search Time Zone.

Step 2: Search and click Change Time Zone.

Step 3: Click the Change TimeZone button.

Step 4: Toggle off the Set time zone automatically.

Step 5: Set your time zone into any UTC +8 Time Zone.

Step 6: Check the Synchronize with an Internet time server box and select an available Internet time server from the drop down menu.

Personal Computer

Step 1: Click on the lock icon beside the address bar and “allow” camera and the notifications.

Step 2: You may take the activity especially those that enabled the proctor feature.

Step 3:  Make sure to allow the camera and notifications whenever this prompt appeared.

Step 4: Make sure that your camera is turned on to enable your teacher to see your activities while taking the quiz and validate your answers.

Step 5: Click “I will follow all the instructions” to start the quiz.

Step 6: Share your “Entire Screen”.

Step 7: Allow your camera.

Step 8: You can now start the quiz.

Mobile Browser

Step1: Click on the lock icon beside the Address bar to access site permissions.

Step 2: Toggle on camera and notification to allow access.

Step 3: Click on answer the quiz

Step 4: Read and follow instructions.

Step 5: Click on I will follow all the instructions to proceed.

Step 6: The quiz will start with a proctor.

MAC Book, iMac, and iPhone Safari Users

How to re-enable the camera and microphone on your MacBook & iMac

Step 1: Open Safari Preferences.

Step 2: Navigate to Websites.

Step 3: Go to Camera and Microphone tabs.

Step 4: Change access to Allow.

Step 5: Restart Safari.

On desktop:

On iPad or iPhone:

Step 1: Access silid.co in your URL. Then click on the locked button beside the URL address.

Step 2: Select the permissions.

Step 3: Then toggle on the show notifications. (Turn it into color blue)

Desktop Browsers

Step 1: Access silid.co in your browser.

Step 2: Click on the locked icon beside the URL.

Step 3: See Notifications.

Step 4: Change Block into Allow.

Step 5: Notification permission should look like this.

Safari Browsers (Mac/IOS)

Step 1: Open System Preferences either by clicking its icon in the Dock or selecting it from the Finder's Apple menu.

Step 2: Click Notifications.

Step 3: Select Safari from the list of applications in the left menu pane.

Step 4: Notification preferences specific to the browser appear on the right side of the window. To turn off all notifications, turn off the Allow Notifications from Safari toggle switch.

Note: Once you're done, you may proceed to login your Silid Account.  

Step 1: Select a particular class.

Step 2: In the socials tab. Notice the "share with your class" in the middle spot of  your screen.

Step 3: Type what you would like to share in your class.

Step 4: Click add button to attach files in your post.

Step 5: Attach the file that you desire to indicate to your post.

Step 6: Finalize and recheck your attached files. If you think you're done, click the post button to proceed.

Step 7: A prompt will appear to confirm your post has been uploaded.

Step 8: Check the latest post in the socials tab to see your post.

Note: If you're not able to see your post, your teacher probably activated the post request. You'll be able to see your post once he/she approved your post.

Step 1: Go to activities tab in a particular class.

Step 2: Select a particular activity.

Step 3: Click on check submissions

Step 4: Select a particular student's submitted activity.

Step 5: Click on their submitted attachment file.

Step 6: You'll be redirected to the attachment file viewer right away.
